Yoga stretches and strengthens the entire body. It calms and refocuses the mind. It also teaches us to be more compassionate and kind to ourselves and to those around us.
Here at Yoga Harmony, we offer both energetic and laid-back yoga styles.
The energetic yoga styles we offer, including Knoff and Hatha yoga, will strengthen your muscles, improve your balance and give you powerful core control. They will strengthen your breath and increase your mental awareness. Our energetic yoga classes will invigorate and enliven your whole being! You will walk out feeling relaxed, recharged and utterly grateful.
The laid-back yoga styles we offer, such as Yin and Restorative yoga, will relax your mind and stretch your body in a gentle and subtle way. These yoga styles will create space and a feeling of ease around your joints. They will reconnect you to yourself and actively rebalance your parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system. You will walk out of these classes feeling extremely relaxed, recharged and sincerely content.
Personally, I practice both the active and the non-active styles of yoga. I think this is the best combination to keep my body and mind healthy and well balanced.
